Welcome to the new WorldTeach volunteers for the 2012–2013 school year! They've finished their orientation, had their workshops on The Unbound Bookmaker Project, chosen their topics, received their supplies, and hopefully had enough time to adjust to the unusual aspects of this country.
The volunteers and their students will have a lot of freedom to tweak or emphasize different aspects of their topics; this creative freedom is important during the bookmaking process. Below is a list of the general topics that have been chosen.
If you, your organization, or someone you know is interested in sponsoring a class book ($480), please download this pledge form and mail or email it to the WorldTeach Office here in Majuro. If credit or debit is easier, you can donate using our WorldTeach Donation Page, which accepts all major cards as well as PayPal and some other options.
This list will be updated on our main webpage as we obtain more sponsors. Sponsors are recognized on our webpage and thanked on the copyright page of the books.
